Typhoon Lagoon
Dudes...share a chair...
A furious storm once roared cross the sea
Catching ships in its path, helpless to flee
Instead of a certain and watery doom
The winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon
I worked at Typhoon from Mid-January to April 4th. We were deployed
here while Blizzard was under Rehab. Those two months were awesome,
I made some great friends there. The "group" at the time,
all worked together. We had everything from freezing cold rainy
days, to scorchingly hot ones. I remember one day there were 7
people in the park....that's right SEVEN. Then, 5 of them (a family)
left for the day which only left 2 in the park. Another time we
closed early due to bad weather, then as we all got in our cars
to leave the Sun came out and we all had a beautiful rest of the
day off.
I miss working with Beau, Kyle, D, and Theresa all in the same
place. Oddly enough, I miss Shark Reef, as cold as it was. I don't
miss the few days they made me work at Leaning Palms. But I do
remember how Justin showed me how to serve beer, haha. Cuz I myself
didn't know how to pour beer from the tap. I won't miss break-out's
getting yelled at for messing up. The In-Service there was cool
though, very well planned. Someone stole my lifeguarding hat though.
The wardrobe lady wasn't too friendly I remember. Oh, and I'll
never forget our first day there for training. I sat with D, Kyle,
Tammy, and Ross. And Kyle managed to name all 18 Disney Resorts...he's
the man...and also Prince Charming, ladies prepare to swoon.
I'll always remember the total stereotyped Surfer who made announcements:
Dudes...the waves'll be rippin ev'ry nin'dy seconds, for the next
hoouurr 'n twen'y minutes....So, parents...for your own safety
like please take small children, by th' hand...an' remain standing
to avoid wipe-out...have a radical time, BUT BE CAREFUL DUDES!
Dude's....share a chair....like make a new friend you know.....take
only the amount of chairs you need for you...and your party.....cool
please allow time to load...

This is the one hidden Mickey in all of Typhoon.
No one knows it's
there. Even the "Hidden Mickey" book doesn't list this.

Not sure what it's from...but it's written in the path
