Thursday:

Today I felt sooo much better, in the morning. I got up early and ended up at school around 9:20 . I sat in the computer lab for a while checking email, and talking to Evan; he was the only one still online. At 10:30 I left to go wait outside for class for class to start. I met up with Chad , and then everyone slowly showed up little by little.

For class today we went to an area known as Little-Venice. They built a canal to transport goods around London , long ago. But by the time it was finished railroads were being built and used. So now people just live in little tiny houseboats on the river. We walked along taking picture for class. Some old lady came out and stood right in the middle of the path, “Private”. None of us saw anything that said we couldn't walk there. She kept saying “Private….It's Private…”, so we turned around and walked along the other path. Oh well.

After another hour or so of walking we arrived in Camden town, the goth area of London . Once there class was dismissed and we started looking around for somewhere for lunch; everything was so expensive. Keith (the teacher), Will, Sophia, and I were the only ones who went into Camden , everyone else left or went to Burger King. I ended up buying Chinese food; it was one of the better meals I've had here in London .

We went back to school, Will left for a cyber-café and I left to the gym. After I exercised for a bit I went and chilled in the AIFS office and typed out some email. The school sucks for areas to sit and study. And finding a power outlet to use is even harder. I went home after that and started to read the fourth book for my English. This one is “Cloud 9”, it took me about two hours or so. It's this really crazy play about people sleeping with each…it's much worse, but yeah, that's the jist.

At 8 I met everyone down at Leister Square , for what was going to be a really long night. When I got off the tube Justin, Jenny and Ben were waiting for me. A cop walked up to Justin, "Scuse me, you're not allowed to have beer on the streets of Westminster". "Really? Oh sorry, I didn't know. Should I go back in the Tube and finish?" said Justin. "Well, umm, you can either dump it out, or... <makes a drinking/throw back motion with hand and head>" responded the cop. "Go for it bro" I told Justin. So Justin starts chugging the rest of his Fosters tall boy. As he was chugging it the female cop just watched and tried not to laugh. Justin finished, and then gave this kind of whoa/shocked expression. The cop said "Wow, good job. Thanks". "Yeah, sorry, I didn't know we couldn't have beer here." said Justin. "It's fine, have a good night." and the cops walked away. We laughed about it, and Justin told me to write that down so we wouldn't forget that on the streets of London a cop ordered him to chug his beer. We all went to a bar, where most of the Foothill/De Anza/Lake Tahoe was. Let's see, there was: Me, Justin, Ben, Jay, Matt, Erin , Sara, Apryl, Vivek, Courtney, Nikki, Nadia, Catherine , Chad , Jenny, Will, Lea…and a hell of a lot more. Fortunately it didn't smell too much like smoke, haha. Courtney met some guys there that invited us all to a party after the bar closed; the bars here close at 11.

We went and chilled at their place for a while, which was wayyy out at Tooting Broadway (really far South). There were throwing a birthday party for one of there other friends. We stayed there for a few hours, I was ready to start heading home; the busses were going to take about 1 ½ hours at least. Jenny/Justin/Courtney wanted to chill though. So we ended up staying. Justin and Jenny were going to crash, and I had no idea where Courtney was. I told Patic (Puh-teek) that was I ready to go, he found Courtney and we were gonna crash on his couch. As we were walking the couple blocks to his place Justin calls me up, they had been kicked out. I guess the girl who owns the other house can be really two-faced, according to Patic. She got realllly pissed at Justin and Jenny, so they left. Justin and I decided to take the busses home, it's now 2am , and Courtney and Jenny were going to use his couch. Patic wanted to pay for a cab for us home, we refused. He's seriously one of the nicest British people we've met, most everyone else have been assholes. We refused the cab when it was going to 20pounds (about 40 dollars), there was no way he should pay that much for us. We took the first bus to Trafalgar Square . It took us about 45 minutes to find the right stop to get us out to Ealing Broadway to get home. We ended up taking another bus to Tottenham Court Road, and then found a third bus to get us to Ealing Broadway. We arrived in Ealing about 3:30 I think, and then had the long walk home. My voice was completely shot from talking so much, and then having to yell to talk at the bar/party. Justin and I walked up the hill towards our house, running for a short part because we were getting so cold. We finally made it home and inside by 4:15 I believe, and crashed at 4:30 …. Loonnnggg night.
