Friday:

… was a pretty relaxing day for the most part. It was the first Friday we've had since arrival, to ourselves. Justin and I chilled here at home all morning and relaxed. He did a bunch of laundry he had from the last two weeks, and I sat and wrote emails to friends. I left around noon or one to go downtown to school and use the internet.

I ended up hanging out at school for close to two hours online. There was only one other person in the lab when I got there, so I didn't have to worry about someone waiting to use the computer after me. I was able to check my email and run site updates in peace for once. Around 3pm or so people from home started to sign online since they were just waking up for the day; I got to catch up with my sister a bit too.

I went downstairs when I was done and ran into a bunch of people from school, they were talking about going out towards O'neils pub again that night; “tell Justin when you see him” they said. After I left I took the Tube to Ealing Broadway, to find the Safeway and buy some food. I wanted to get tortillas for snack food, but they didn't sell any. I ended up just buying bread, jelly, nutella, raisin bread, and orange juice. I was told many times to not eat the peanut butter here, so I steered clear of it. It was a really light beige color anyway… the peanut-butter-brown you're used to. Justin called as I was getting ready to stand in line; he had locked himself out of the house and was wondering how long til I got home

When I did finish the 20minute walk home, Justin was already inside. He said Sue had come home briefly and let him in. We sat and ate dinner, then got ready to go to the pub. After the Tube ride to Northern London we met up with everyone; there was like 15 people there waiting. Everyone went to the store first, to buy cheap alcohol so they could get drunk before they went into the pub. We ended up going back to O'neils, instead of the one originally planned. I guess two of the girls got free drinks at some other pub the night before… so for some reason they thought “Oh, I can bring 13 of my American friends and we can get free drinks again tonight”. I see absolutely no logic in it either, but the girls were confused/pissed because their plan didn't work. Anyway, we all went back to O'neils, again, and chilled there for a bit. It didn't really seem like everyone was having as much fun as the night before; though I've already heard about certain people starting to annoy certain other people. We really need to start going out in smaller groups and not doing the whole big-ass-group-of-american-college-students-going-to-a-pub-every-night-just-to-get-drunk idea.

Justin and I left around 10:30 since we didn't want to get stuck riding the night bus again that night. A limo full of French girls passed us, screaming and yelling for us to go hang out with them. Of course I didn't here them or hear what they were yelling; but according to Justin it's still my fault I blew the opportunity. We caught the Tube home, got home, and crashed.
