Journal 11 Wednesday: Today was a pretty normal day. I went into school early to check my email. I had 335 new messages, about 315 of them were junk… I hate spam. I sat through 6 hours of class. Two two-hour English courses, and then a tour hour lecture for British life and culture. This particular guy we had lecturing for this BL&C course was entertaining though. Afterward I went to the gym for an hour, Aaron and Nathan came too; Aaron kept up, but Nathan is a lot smaller than us. After the gym we all went looking for food. I forget where we were going to go originally, but we ended up in China Town . We ate at a place that appeared to have some good prices. It did, but the portions were really small. So we all left slightly hungry, haha. After that people went to a pub and I opted to go home since I had emails and stuff to write. Thursday: Started early again to take care of email and updates online at school. It's really irritating not having easy access to the internet, going in an hour early to do email and stuff is a little annoying. Today was Photography, and since we were gone the first part of the week I didn't realize which day it was and ended up walking to the wrong place for class. At school back home that no big deal, but here walking to the wrong building means I walked about five blocks to the wrong place. Haha, oh well. We went to a museum today for class. We saw a replica of the statue David, among other things, but that was probably the coolest piece. After class I went shopping…well, shopping for postcards – I had to buy 35 or something. I bought only 24 since there were wasn't a huge selection; I'll just get more later sometime. We went out that night, but I don't recall what we did. We may have actually did nothing. I think we did do nothing come to think of it, since we had to get up early for Stonehenge on Friday. Justin and I walked to the Ka bob place near our house and got fries at 10 or so since we were hungry…but not… you know? |
