{"id":180,"date":"2008-10-26T01:09:04","date_gmt":"2008-10-26T09:09:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.johnremus.com\/blog\/?p=180"},"modified":"2008-10-26T01:09:04","modified_gmt":"2008-10-26T09:09:04","slug":"its-soothing-at-105mph","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.johnremus.com\/blog\/its-soothing-at-105mph\/","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s soothing at 105mph&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"attachment wp-att-181\" src=\"https:\/\/www.johnremus.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/jr3_1980-edit_650n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s something relaxing about doing 105+ on a bike&#8230;<br \/>\nNight rides mean no traffic on the highways, less cops to try and catch you, and except for the occasional idiot driver &#8211; there&#8217;s really nothing to get in your way.<\/p>\n<p>With mountains all around me, downtown LA and Hollywood right around the corner, and a heavy jacket, crisp evenings like tonight are perfect&#8230; just you and the road.<\/p>\n<p>However, after coming over a hill right by Universal at about 80 I came upon a drunk driver swerving between my lane and the one next to me&#8230; good to see there are still plenty of idiots out there.
